Electrical products plant for 650 million rubles was launched in Bashkiria

In Bashkortostan, a new plant for the production of wall and floor electrical cabinets "BIT" was launched. Over the past two years, Elkom LLC has invested 650 million rubles in a new plant built near the village of Zubovo, Ufa region. By 2023, it is planned to create up to 209 new, highly productive jobs. It is supposed to reach its design capacity in 2026.

The Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov gave the official start to the new enterprise operation today.

It is worth recalling that the project for constructing a production plant was one of the first reviewed and approved at the "Investment Hour" session in November 2018 with the provision of state support measures.

According to the director of Elkom LLC Ilshat Shaikhutdinov, the project will reduce the dependence of Russian industrial enterprises on the supply of various types of electrical cabinets of foreign manufacture and provide industrial enterprises with high-quality metal structures.

"As they say, there is a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together... So today, on the Power Engineer's Day, we opened a new enterprise Elkom in the Ufa region, the creation of which we agreed with the investor during my second "Investment Hour" session in November 2018... And now we have here 8000 sq. meters of industrial premises, which will be used to manufacture electrical cabinets for various industries. The investor has spent 650 million rubles on the enterprise. Today we can say that it went rolling, more than 200 jobs have been created for our residents. We will continue to help the enterprise; at the next Industrial Hour session, we will discuss the prospects for its development," the Head of Bashkortostan posted on his social media.
