It is planned to launch new high-speed train from Ufa to Magnitogorsk

A pilot trip took place using the most modern Russian electric train ES1P Lastochka on the route Ufa - Magnitogorsk - Ufa. As a result of the trip, the possibility of purchasing Lastochka trains for the Bashkir region and the development of regular runs from Ufa to Magnitogorsk is being considered.
A test flight was performed to determine the minimum route travel time. The Lastochka train departed from the Ufa station at 4.24, Moscow time, and arrived in Magnitogorsk at 10.13. As a result of the joint work of specialists from the Kuibyshev and South Ural railways, the travel time was significantly reduced.
The electric train, created on the Siemens platform, includes five comfortable new generation carriages, equipped with soft chairs, dry closets, and air conditioning systems. The air circulating in the carriages is disinfected using ultraviolet radiation. Lastochka meets all modern safety and comfort requirements.
Considering that the route from Ufa to Magnitogorsk passes through several tourist places in Bashkiria, including Abzakovo, where a popular ski resort is located, the use of new trains will not only connect two large urban agglomerations but will also contribute to the development of domestic tourism.
