Agricultural products export grew by 40% in Bashkiria

The export of products of the agro-industrial complex from the republic, according to operational data as of December 13, 2020, amounted to $ 145.7 million. Growth over the same period last year - $ 41.2 million.

The main share of exports is sunflower oil; products were sent abroad for 58.1 thousand US dollars. Then 53.5 thousand tons of sugar come for 20.7 thousand US dollars. Grains round out the top three in terms of export. They were exported in the amount of 15.5 thousand dollars," the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkortostan reports.

The target indicator of the regional project "Export of Bashkortostan agricultural products" for 2020 is provided in the amount of 115 million US dollars. Last year, the volume of supplies of agricultural products from the region totaled to $ 112 million, exceeding the target by more than 20%. By 2024, the figure should increase to $ 230 million.
