Radiy Khabirov: first production facility will start operating in Alga SEZ in 2021

The growth of investments in Bashkortostan in the first nine months of 2020 amounted to 4%, the Head of the Republic said at the second session of the Club of Active Investors "Alga, Bashkortostan!" According to Radiy Khabirov, the most important instrument for attracting investments has appeared in the region - the special economic zone "Alga", which already has six residents.
"I am absolutely sure that the first production will appear there in 2021, and we will be able to think about expanding the territory. An important event was the receipt of federal status by our Eurasian Research and Educational Center of the world level, which we achieved in a tough competition. This platform will combine the achievements of science and industry. We see a high demand for it, including from enterprises located outside the republic", the Head of the Republic noted.
During the pandemic's difficult period, Bashkortostan developed two packages of measures to support business, covering about 59 thousand enterprises.
"According to the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, our solutions are among the best in the country. Now we are preparing a third package of support measures, which, on the one hand, will be a little more modest, and on the other, we will keep in it exactly those tools that have already proven their effectiveness. We set ourselves a very ambitious goal - to bring investments in fixed assets to 650 billion rubles by 2024, and we can fulfill it. Our objective is to become one of the five leaders of Russia in terms of attracted investments," said the Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Andrei Nazarov.
Investors expressed gratitude to the republic's leadership for support in a difficult period and noted that very comfortable conditions for doing business had been created in Bashkortostan.
