Investments in roadside service in Bashkiria increased 38 times in 2020

The volume of investments in roadside service in Bashkortostan due to the systematic approach to implementing the new Development Concept has grown 38 times: from 145 million to more than 5.5 billion rubles. This was announced by the Minister of Trade and Services RB Alexey Gusev during the thematic session at the International Business Week 2020 (IBW).

"The Concept for the Development of Roadside Service, developed by the Ministry of Trade of the Republic, has allowed obtaining a positive effect as an increase in the volume of investments," said Alexey Gusev. "If for the whole of 2019 the total amount of investments in roadside service was about 145 million rubles, then with the creation of the Concept, which defines clear rules for this area development, only for four months of 2020, when the Concept was approved, a total volume of investments over 5.5 billion rubles was attracted."

According to the Concept for the development of roadside service in Bashkortostan until 2024, it is planned that the number of roadside service facilities will double, and the existing ones will be modernized, taking into account modern requirements. Also, a general development scheme has been developed in the republic, which is a "land pool" for roadside service facilities. The scheme includes only those sections that are adjacent to roads with heavy traffic.
