Bashkiria can export halal fish

Halal fish is planned to be exported from Bashkortostan. Ainur Birgalin, Chairman of the Spiritual Directorate of Muslims RB, spoke about this at the International Business Week 2020 (MNB) in Ufa.

"The export of halal products is growing in Bashkortostan. In addition to grain, meat products, there is a demand for fish exports. It was initially known that fish itself is halal, but other countries still require this labeling. Besides, we have a vitamin plant and pharmaceutical production in our republic. If they are transformed into halal ones, then new markets would open up for Bashkortostan," Ainur Birgalin added.

According to the Deputy Chairman of the Spiritual Directorate of Muslims of Russia Rushan Abbyasov, today the republic's potential for halal products' export is quite immense. There are prospects for entering the Arab-Islamic world countries, such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar.

International Business Week 2020 (MNB) is held in a hybrid format - online and offline in Ufa from December 8 to 11. On December 8, within the framework of the International Business Week, the 6th Forum of Small and Medium Business in the regions of the SCO and BRICS member states was held.
