International Business Week has opened in Ufa

The International Business Week 2020 (IBW) has opened in the Ufa Congress Hall "Toratau", bringing together more than 600 speakers from different countries and several thousand online participants.

This year, International Business Week in Ufa is held in a hybrid format - online and offline.

Numerous events of the IBW-2020 will be held with a limited number of participants on the site and a large virtual audience.

All users can follow the business program online; registration is available on the official portal ibw-bashkortostan.com.

Viewers and speakers can exchange views and questions live through feedback services. The chosen format will allow holding the forum as safely and efficiently as possible.

The business program is designed for four days and will be devoted to small and medium-sized businesses in the regions of the SCO and BRICS countries, entrepreneurship in Russia, tourism, economy, and export.

Today, the 5th Forum of Small and Medium Business in the regions of the SCO and BRICS member states was launched within the International Business Week 2020.

Various panel discussions on the most pressing issues of small and medium-sized businesses will take place throughout the day. Among them, the formation and development of economic relations between the SCO and BRICS member countries, the problems of entrepreneurship and international trade, the development of a common business space between the SCO and BRICS, the implementation of the BRICS Pay system, and support for creative industries.

Besides, a presentation of the World Folkloriada is planned at the International Business Week in Ufa today. The congress of folklore groups from all over the world is traditionally held once every four years. In 2021 it will be held in Russia, in Bashkortostan.

The first day of the International Business Week will end with a fashion show of international, Russian, and Bashkir designers as part of the Cosmopolitan project "National Fashion Without Borders".

The International Business Week in Ufa will end its work on December 11.

The Government of Bashkortostan organized the IBW-2020.

The operator of the IBW-2020 is the Office Group Congress Bureau of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
