Largest meat-processing plant in Bashkiria will be built in "Belebey" PDA

A modern meat-processing plant will be built in the priority development area (PDA) "Belebey". The total investment is planned at the level of almost 10 billion rubles, and this project is currently one of the largest in the republic. The Tavros company plans to process pork grown at its own pig farms and produce sausages of a delicacy group at the plant. Slaughter capacity - 1 million heads per year, deboning - 92 thousand tons per year.

Today, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, who is on a working trip to the Belebeyevsky district, visited the construction site. General Director of the Bashkir Meat Company Rinat Zainullin said that the enterprise's total area would be about 70 thousand square meters.

"1200 new jobs will be created as planned. There will be a complete closed cycle with deep processing. At the first stage, workshops will be built without the production of meat and sausages. The company has already invested more than 100 million rubles in design and survey work, construction and installation work on the temporary power supply, and a temporary road and preparation of the construction site," Rinat Zainullin said.

The funds of the Regional Fund of Bashkortostan will amount to 1.5 billion rubles; borrowed funds from Russian banks - 8.1 billion rubles; soft loans through the Mono-Cities Development Fund - up to 1 billion rubles; co-financing of infrastructure facilities through Mono-Cities Development Fund - 1.6 billion rubles of the total investment of 9.8 billion rubles. The final deadline for the implementation of the investment project is 2039.

The Tavros Group of Companies manages 124.4 thousand hectares of land assets, pig-breeding complexes with a capacity of about 58.6 thousand tons of meat per year in live weight, a sugar plant with a capacity of 89 thousand tons of sugar per year, elevator capacities of 120 thousand tons and a capacity for the production of compound feeds over 40 tons/hour. The cluster employs more than 3 thousand people; the amount of taxes paid is about 400 million rubles a year. The total investment of the holding has exceeded 17 billion rubles for eight years. 1128 jobs will be created within the investment projects.

"This is a significant project for Belebey and the whole republic – a meat processing plant with 10 billion in investments, 1200 jobs. The construction site is ready now. This resulted from the formation of an investment climate in the republic, which made it possible not to close projects even in the pandemic," Radiy Khabirov posted on his social media.
