Housing construction increased by 12 percent in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, over ten months of this year, 24 thousand apartments with a total area of ​​more than 1.928 million square meters were commissioned. This is 11.9% more than in January - October 2019. According to the republic's statisticians of the republic, there are 477 square meters of new housing per thousand inhabitants.

The share of housing built by the population amounted to 67.5% in the structure of housing construction. They have built almost 12 thousand houses, the total area of ​​which exceeded 1.3 million square meters. This is 11.6% more than in January-October last year.

Developers - legal entities during the same time have built 626 thousand square meters of housing in Bashkiria, which is 12.5% ​​more than a year ago.

"According to the types of buildings, the total area of ​​housing was distributed as follows: 575 thousand square meters fell on multi-story apartment buildings, 25.5 thousand square meters - on low-rise apartment buildings, more than 17 thousand square meters - on houses for one family and over 8 thousand - to dormitories," Bashkortostan Statistics Agency reports.

Among the country's regions in January - October of this year, Bashkiria still ranks fifth in terms of housing construction and second among the Volga Federal District regions.
