Agricultural products export grew by more than 50% over year in Bashkiria

The export of products from the agro-industrial complex of Bashkiria, as of November 1, reached $ 115.9 million. This is $ 40 million more than a year ago, the Ministry of Agriculture of the republic stressed.

As in the previous year, the lion's share of exports falls on fat and oil products (almost 50%). This is followed by oilseeds, alcohols, honey - about 18%. A little more than 17% are products of the food and processing industry. Grain crops occupy the conditional fourth place in the export rating in the agro-industrial complex. They account for over 12% of regional exports.

"The target indicator of the project "Export of agricultural products of Bashkiria" for the current year is provided for 115 million dollars," the press secretary of the republican Ministry of Agriculture Almaz Galimov said. "Last year, the volume of exports of agricultural products amounted to $112 million, exceeding the target by more than 20%. By 2024, this figure should increase to $ 230 million".
