Nine farms had more than 10 thousand tons of milk yield in Bashkiria

The gross milk yield in agricultural enterprises and farms in Bashkiria amounted to 637 thousand tons - 22 thousand more than in January-October 2019, the Ministry of Agriculture reports.

In nine dairy farms of the republic, the gross milk yield since the beginning of the year has exceeded 10 thousand tons. In total, as of November 1, they received 114.8 thousand tons of milk.

Chekmagush agricultural enterprise "Bazy" leads in the dairy rating, where the gross milk yield is close to 20 thousand tons. It is followed by the Kalinin agricultural enterprise (Sterlitamak) and LLC Severnaya Niva Bashkiria (Yermekeevo) (14.5 thousand tons of milk each), MTS Centralnaya RB (13.5 thousand tons), Ashkadarsky agricultural enterprise ( Meleuz) (11.7 thousand tons).

Several investment projects in dairy farming are being implemented in the region, and farms supported by state programs replenish their livestock with breeding cows.
