Rayevsky sugar plant reconstruction project was presented at "Investment Hour" session

Mansur Latypov, General Director of "Star Nafta", at an online session of the "Investment Hour", presented a project for the Rayevsky sugar plant's reconstruction to increase the volume of beet processing to 5.5 thousand tons per day. Having invested 927 million rubles, the investor intends to upgrade equipment throughout the entire production chain, including building a new pulp drying department for the production of export-oriented products.

As part of the project, the plant's management has prepared a technical assignment for the modernization of facilities and is negotiating with equipment suppliers. The first contracts for its purchase are planned to be concluded by the end of 2020.

The meeting participants approved the investment project's inclusion in the priority list with the provision of property tax benefits and compensation for part of the interest rate on the investment loan.
