Bashkiria plans to become center of world-class tourism attraction through "RUSSPASS"

Bashkiria's tourist opportunities are now presented on the RUSSPASS platform (a digital tourist service that allows you to plan a cultural, educational, and entertainment vacation fully).
The Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov set a goal to create a world-class tourist attraction center in Bashkiria after the region's bronze award in the All-Russian competition for the ecotourism development. Participation in the RUSSPASS platform was one of the steps towards this goal. For example, after launching on the platform, Moscow received 50 applications for travel without advertising in a few days and increased tourist flow during the pandemic. In Bashkiria this year there is also an increase in the number of tourists twice.
Tourism expert Artur Idelbayev named the reasons for the success of the republic in the development of tourism, which includes fundamental directions: development and implementation of the roadside tourist services concept, installation of tourist navigation signs on the main tourist destinations, construction of roads and large objects of attraction for tourists.
“Already, the business has accepted preliminary applications for more than a billion rubles in the development of roadside services,” the expert comments. “At the same time, huge work is underway to improve the historic settlements such as Birsk, Ishimbay, Zilair, Nikolo-Berezovka, the village of Voskresenskoye and others with federal grants totaling more than half a billion rubles.
The information component also influenced the attraction of travelers to the region. Over the past year and a half, Bashkiria has been visited and filmed by Channel 1, NTV, Rossiya, Planeta, Friday, MuzTV, Russia Today (in Arabic and Spanish), the "Otdykh v Rossii magazines "," National Geographic ", almost all federal leading newspapers and Internet resources.
“A separate item on our program is working with federal travel bloggers. Thanks to them, information about Bashkiria as a tourist attractive region has spread through the networks with millions of views," explains Artur Idelbaev.
According to the representative of the tour operator "Tarkhan" Ildar Bikkuzin, to promote the republic's tourism potential, it is necessary to regularly participate in professional competitions, exhibitions, and other events at the federal level.
Note that this year a record number of representatives of our republic - 18 projects - made it to the final of the All-Russian prize "Routes of the Year - 2020", which is to be held in Mordovia. 11 projects have passed to another prestigious competition Russia Event Awards 2020. Bashkiria has never had such achievements.
