More than 500 jobs to be created in new coworking centers in Bashkiria

This year, the total portfolio of financial institutions in Bashkiria, supporting small and medium-sized businesses, exceeded 3.5 billion rubles, the chairman of the regional State Committee for Entrepreneurship Rimma Boytsova said at a meeting in the government.

Thus, under the concessional leasing of equipment program, 33 entrepreneurs received support from the Regional Leasing Company of Bashkiria for 762.4 million rubles.

65 guarantees were issued in the amount of 526.8 million rubles at the Republican Guarantee Fund's expense. This allowed business people to attract loans of 1.2 billion rubles.

498 SMEs received support from the Microfinance Organization of Bashkiria for 601 million rubles, Rimma Boytsova said. She added that all relevant information about business support measures, useful services for entrepreneurs, and the republic's residents could be obtained on the new online portal VmesteRB - a communication platform for business, public organizations, and the population.

"Last year, we began to create modern equipped office spaces in the regions of Bashkiria where you can rent workplaces - coworking centers. Today there are already 12 of them operating," Rimma Boytsova said at the meeting. "This year, we have expanded the areas of their work. 16 municipalities received 44 million rubles from the republican budget for the creation of 19 coworking centers. They will equip more than 500 places where about 200 new entrepreneurs will be able to work".

One of the most significant events of 2020 is the opening of the House of Innovative Entrepreneurship "Factory of the Future" in Ufa. It has become a multifunctional public space focused on promising innovative teams, entrepreneurs, and creative youth.

According to Boytsova, similar business centers are also planned to be opened in the cities of Sibay, Salavat, and Oktyabrsky.

The Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, thanked the employees of the State Committee for Entrepreneurship RB. "You are rendering great assistance to small businesses, creating an infrastructure for its development. "Factory of the Future" is a vivid example of this work, " Radiy Khabirov said. "In May 2021, we will launch another large-scale project in Ufa - the High Technologies Technopark IQ-Park."
