Unprofitable enterprises share exceeded 30 percent in Bashkiria

In January-August of this year, the share of unprofitable organizations in Bashkiria amounted to 30.5%, the loss of 20.8 billion rubles, the Bashkortostan Statistics Agency reported.
For comparison: for eight months of 2019, the share of unprofitable enterprises was lower, as well as the amount of loss - 25.8% and 20.8 billion rubles, respectively.
According to statisticians' data, the balanced financial result (profit minus loss) of republican enterprises, excluding individual entrepreneurs, banks, government agencies, and non-credit financial organizations, amounted to 88 billion rubles or 47.4% compared to January-August 2019.
Overdue accounts payable reached 22.6 billion rubles by the end of August this year or 3.7% of the total amount of accounts payable.
"The liabilities of enterprises to suppliers amounted to 74.5% of overdue accounts payable, debts to the budget - 4.1%, debts to state extra-budgetary funds - 4.7%," the Bashkortostan Statistics Agency stated. "The indebtedness of enterprises on loans and borrowings received from banks amounted to 580.3 billion rubles, the share of overdue indebtedness accounted for 0.4%".
In turn, overdue accounts receivable during this time amounted to 50.4 billion rubles or 6.8% of the total amount of debt. Most of the expected payments with expired maturities are due to buyers' debts.
