Unemployed number increased by 7 times in Bashkiria
Compared to September last year, the number of officially registered unemployed in Bashkiria increased seven times and reached almost 129 thousand people, according to the region's statistics.
In total, by the end of September, 135.5 thousand unemployed citizens were registered with the employment service of the republic.
The level of registered unemployment in the region was 6.79% of the labor force.
Only in September of this year, about 15 thousand people received the status of unemployed in Bashkiria. Moreover, on the contrary, more than 8 thousand unemployed found work or profitable employment.
For comparison: in January 2020, 20.4 thousand people were registered with the employment service, of which 18.3 thousand people had unemployed status.
