"Energy of Urals" specialized exhibition has opened in Ufa

The Russian Energy Forum and the "Energy of Urals" specialized exhibition opened in Ufa.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Chief of Staff of the Head of Bashkortostan Alexander Sidyakin, First Deputy Minister of Industry, Energy, and Innovation of Bashkortostan Timur Gerasimov, heads of professional energy unions and associations, guests from neighboring regions.

Alexander Sidyakin launched the Sterlibashevskaya (Kalmykskaya) solar power plant at the forum.

The station was put into operation with an electrical capacity of 25 MW.

Electricity will be delivered at a voltage of 10 kV to the republic's power system through the power grid facilities of Bashkirenergo LLC.

The project's volume of investments amounted to 3.4 billion rubles, and 12 new jobs were created.

More than 70 leading domestic developers, manufacturers, and suppliers of power and electrical equipment from 14 regions of the country, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Chuvashia, Tatarstan, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Samara Regions, Perm Territory, Udmurtia, and other subjects of Russia take part in the exhibition.

A unique exposition of electric vehicles is presented at the venue. The forum also discusses, among other essential issues, the development of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, the number of which is growing from year to year.

The events of the Russian Energy Forum are held in a hybrid format - with the participation of speakers, both at the Forum site and online via video conferencing.

The forum's key event was the Strategic Session "Modern Energy Challenges: A View of 2035".

It was also attended by Deputy Minister of Industry, Energy and Innovation of the Republic Timur Gerasimov, representatives of the Government of Bashkortostan, the German Embassy in the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, the L.A. Melent'ev Institute of Energy Systems of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Irkutsk), the Association for the Development of Renewable Energy (Moscow), the Machine-Building Cluster of Tatarstan (Kazan), heads of generating and power grid companies in Russia.

In total, within the framework of the forum, over three days, 20 industry panels will be held with the participation of more than 150 speakers from 12 cities of Russia - Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Irkutsk, Chelyabinsk, Makhachkala, Cheboksary, Yekaterinburg, Samara, Saratov, Perm, Ufa.

The forum's main topics are the energy industry digitalization, the introduction of smart grids, the localization of energy equipment, promising renewable energy technologies, energy service, and engineering personnel training.

This year, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and the German energy agency DENA also provide assistance in conducting business sections.

Experts from Germany and Switzerland are taking part in the online forum.
