Social support program was approved for 156.5 billion rubles in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, the "Social Protection of the Population" state program has been approved for about 156.5 billion rubles for six years, of which 96.5 billion rubles are from the regional budget, 55.3 billion rubles are from the federal budget. According to the Ministry of Labor of Bashkiria, the new state program has been prepared for 2021-2026; it includes activities of the regional projects "Financial support for families at the birth of children" and "Systemic support and improvement of the quality of life of older citizens of the national project "Demography".

The Ministry of Labor expects that the program's implementation will improve social security and increase third and subsequent children's birth rate.

Today in Bashkiria, more than 176 thousand families with children receive about 30 types of benefits and social support measures. Every fourth resident uses social support measures.
