New Infectious Diseases Hospital in Sterlitamak will accommodate first patients on December 14

The construction of a new Infectious Disease Center in Sterlitamak should be completed by December 1, and the hospital should accommodate its first patients on December 14. Such tasks were set by the Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Andrey Nazarov at a working meeting.
The new medical facility project provides ordinary wards and intensive care wards and maternity and pediatric departments, a surgical unit, a bacteriological laboratory, and a tomography department. There will be 70 isolation wards, and the peak capacity can reach 300 patients. In the future, a helipad will appear on the territory of the hospital.
The remarks that arose during a similar hospital in Zubovo were taken into account: they expanded the corridors and made more spacious rooms for staff.
Andrey Nazarov instructed to prepare and sign a government decree and an agreement on the construction of the new Infectious Disease Center in Sterlitamak within 24 hours. He also urged to speed up the design work for the construction of a road to the hospital, as well as to landscape the territory of the medical institution with plantings and large trees.
Recall that on October 10, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, visited the Infectious Disease Center's construction site. He then noted that republican manufacturers' capacities should be used to the maximum during the construction of the new facility. It is necessary to start selecting and training personnel for the new hospital.
