5.67 thousand citizens and 1.32 thousand entrepreneurs received payment holidays in Bashkiria

The period of payment holidays, to which entrepreneurs from the list of industries affected by the pandemic and citizens in difficult financial situations were entitled, ended in September. According to the National Bank of Bashkiria, from April to September, 11,354 residents of Bashkiria, including 2,303 mortgage borrowers, applied for credit holidays.

"To date, almost all applications have been considered, half of them have been approved. The share of positive decisions on mortgages was 61.2%. The amount of debt under contracts that have received a deferral is more than 1.7 billion rubles," the National Bank informed.

2,129 applications were received from small businesses, 62% were approved. The amount of debt on them is also more than 1.7 billion rubles.

The National Bank noted that the Central Bank of the Russian Federation recommended financial institutions to make advances to the former beneficiaries and offer them loan restructuring by the end of this year.
