22nd Russian agricultural exhibition "Golden Autumn" opened today in online format

The 22nd Russian agro-industrial exhibition "Golden Autumn" has opened today. This year the event is being held in an online format, and traditionally one of the most extensive and eventful will be the 3D pavilion of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The concept of the pavilion reflects the regional agricultural complex's achievements and is created according to the industry principle. Thus, a separate stand highlighted the digitalization of the agro-industrial complex of the republic. Bashkortostan will take an active part in the business program of the exhibition. Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB - Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov plans to participate in discussion panels on the promotion and support of regional brands, the development of beekeeping.

At the end of 8 months of 2020, the index of agricultural production in the republic amounted to 106.1% (including crop production - 114.9%, livestock - 102.0%), last year for the same period - 99.4%. In terms of this indicator, it is ahead of the national average by 1.9 percentage points. Bashkortostan is the leader in the production of beef - 1st place in the Russian Federation (191 thousand tons), milk - 2nd place (1.6 million tons), honey - 2nd place (5.5 thousand tons), kumis - 2nd place ( 3.7 thousand tons), the number of horses - 2nd place (119.5 thousand heads), cattle - 2nd place (978 thousand heads).

The republic also ranks 4th in potato production (852 thousand tons) and 6th in producing greenhouse vegetables (68.5 thousand tons).
