It is planned to build a horse meat processing complex in Baymak. Recall that the head of the farm, entrepreneur Firdavis Halimov told the Head of Bashkortostan about his plans to open a new production on September 9, during Radiy Khabirov's working trip to the Baymaksky district. The farm specializes in breeding Bashkir horses and producing koumiss (mare's milk product). The farmer said that the cost of the complex would be 22.3 million rubles. There will be workshops for slaughtering and preparing semi-finished products from horse meat and beef, including Halal products. They plan to supply products to preschool and educational institutions, hospitals, and retail chains in the region. The entrepreneur has already signed contracts for the purchase of equipment. He needs to register an empty building in the territory of the city of Baimak to start construction work. The Head of the Region instructed the government to assist in resolving property issues.
The "Investment Hour" session participants also approved compensation for part of the cost of purchasing equipment. Rim Khafizov, Acting Director of "Ecoproduct", presented a project to organize the production of freeze-dried (dry) mare's milk in the Baymaksky region, including the purchase of a dairy herd. Production workshops with a total capacity of up to 30 tons per season will be built at two sites in Sibay and Baymak. At the same time, some of the products are planned to be exported to foreign countries. The pilot shop will be launched in 2021.
In addition, the enterprise will supply 450 thousand liters of milk and koumiss to the domestic market.
Ecoproduct also collaborates with scientists from Moscow State University and the Bashkir State Medical University, jointly studying the beneficial properties of koumiss, the prospects for its use in sports, and children's nutrition. The total investment exceeds 676 million rubles. The project will create 104 new jobs.
The Head of Bashkortostan instructed the administration of the Baymaksky region to consider the possibility of using collateral mechanisms to attract loan financing for the project. As a measure of support, the investor is subsidized part of the cost of purchasing the livestock of horses and equipment.
