Oil products transportation decreased by 12% in Bashkiria - Russian Railways

In January-August of this year, in Bashkiria, the volume of railway transportation of oil products decreased compared to 8 months of 2019 by 12.4% to 1.3 million tons, chemicals and soda - by 6%, to 102 thousand tons, construction cargo - by 13.1%, to 51 thousand tons. Interfax reported this with reference to the data of the Ural Transport forum.

At the same time, the Kuibyshev Center of the Russian Railways expects an increase in the volume of grain shipments in connection with a good harvest of this summer - by 23.8% to 354 thousand tons.
