Vladimir Putin announced increase in pensions since next year

Vladimir Putin announced an increase in pensions in the next year. According to him, payments to Russian pensioners will be indexed by 6.3 percent in 2021. The President announced this during his meeting with senators in the Kremlin today.

"This is more than 1.5 times higher than the projected inflation in 2021," Rossiyskaya Gazeta cites Vladimir Putin.

Earlier, the Ministry of Labor informed that the average annual pension of non-working pensioners next year would amount to 17,443 rubles.
