Tourism industry turnover fell by 75% in Bashkiria
In Bashkiria, the volume of paid services to the population in January - July 2020 decreased in almost all industries, Bashkortostan Statistics Agency informs.
The tourism industry was the worst affected: revenues fell by 75% compared to January-July 2019 and amounted to 400.7 million rubles.
The revenues of cultural institutions decreased by almost 55% (711.6 million rubles).
The hotel business fell by 57% (RUB 673.7 million).
Transport revenues decreased by 48.5% (RUB 13.29 million).
Less affected were veterinary (-8%, 275.5 million rubles), legal (-5%, 939.2 million rubles), educational (-14%, 14 billion rubles) institutions.
Utilities received minimal damage from lockdown measures (-2%, 30.6 billion rubles). The income of housing companies fell by 20% (8.9 billion rubles).
Postal and courier services increased their income by 0.4% (534.6 million rubles), but their share in the total structure of paid services - 0.4% (increased by 0.1% compared to seven months of 2019).
In general, the volume of paid services decreased by 23% and amounted to about 122.4 billion rubles.
