Arkada received approval of Expert Council for creation of garment factory in Alga SEZ

The Arkada company received the approval of the Expert Council for the implementation of an investment project to create a garment factory in the Alga SEZ. The project for the creation of a modern garment factory that produces workwear was presented by the Deputy Director of the company Evgeny Romanov.

Production enterprise Arkada LLC was created for the implementation of an investment project and was registered in Ishimbay in December 2019. The company expects to receive the site No. 1 of the Alga SEZ (3.2 hectares). The total cost of creating a factory from scratch is 680 million rubles, including project - 6 million rubles, 240 million rubles. - equipment, construction, and commissioning - 234 million. The company invests 240 million rubles of own funds and 440 million rubles of borrowed funds. It expects to complete the investment phase and begin work in September 2021. The company plans to purchase equipment that will make it possible to produce a wide range of protective clothing with special properties - suits, signal vests, waterproof raincoats, uniforms, clothing for work in low temperatures.

The company signed an agreement with Anastasia Zadorina, owner of the Zasport brand, which has been producing equipment for the Russian Olympic team since 2017.

For ten years of project implementation (until 2029), Arkada plans to gain a net discounted income of 2.2 billion rubles, and receive revenue in the amount of 18 billion rubles, net profit - 3.5 billion rubles. These calculations show that cash flows will be sufficient to cover investments and make a profit. The discounted payback period is about 4 years.

To date, the company has invested 10.5 million rubles of preparatory work - a pre-design plan, engineering and geodetic surveys, the temporary connection of electricity from a machine-tool plant. After obtaining resident status and permission for land work, the company is ready to start construction.

According to the head of the Expert Council, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Government Office of Bashkiria, Ilshat Tazhitdinov, the construction of the Alga SEZ is carried out in accordance with the "road map". Agreements of intent were signed with nine investors for projects worth RUB 25 billion. “This year the SEZ should have at least five residents, in 2023 - at least 10. This year, it is necessary to invest at least 100 million rubles in fixed assets and create 30 jobs. After 2023, 1,300 jobs should appear, the volume of investments is planned for 20 billion rubles, taxes to the budget of the Russian Federation - at least 5 billion,” the official reminded of the planned indicators of the Special Economic Zone. Until 2025, the regional budget undertook to invest 6.33 billion rubles in the creation of the infrastructure of the Alga SEZ.
