An acceleration platform for the development of innovative developments will appear in the city of Kumertau, the press service of the Ministry of Digital Development of the region reported.
This decision was made following the results of the Startup Day held in Kumertau.
Technopark "Qvantolab" was chosen as a place for innovative activity, where inventors and entrepreneurs can get advice, find mentors and experts, learn about state financial support programs and find investors for starting and developing a business.
“During the Startup Day, the idea of creating such a center was supported by the Kumertau business community,” said Alevtina Dautova, press secretary of the Ministry of Digital Development of Public Administration of Bashkiria.
The business event in this southern city of the republic became part of the program to support technology entrepreneurs, launched at the request of the Ministry of Digital Industry.
Startup Day brought together students, developers, entrepreneurs, programmers, engineers wishing to develop in the field of information technology, and entrepreneurship on one site.
Each of them was able to present their project here and ask questions to successful businessmen, investors, government officials, accelerator experts during group and individual consultations.
Besides, they were able to participate in seminars and masterclasses on measures to support IT startups in the republic.
In turn, the experts shared their successful experience in the implementation of innovative developments, talked about programs for financial support for startups, ways to use digital technologies in various business sectors, new systems, and projects in the field of digital technologies.
“Based on the results of Startup Day, the experts of the regional acceleration program have selected several projects for intensive individual work. The authors of the best startups will be able to receive grants and investments, as well as to implement their ideas in partnership with large companies,” Alevtina Dautova noted.

The Regional Acceleration Program (RAP) for IT projects was launched by order of the Ministry of Digital Industry of Bashkiria as part of the implementation of the Digital Technologies federal project of the Digital Economy national program.
