Budget revenues decreased and expenses increased in Bashkiria

By August 1, 2020, the execution of the consolidated budget of Bashkiria in terms of revenues amounted to 133,847.6 million rubles or 98.7 percent compared to the same period last year, the regional Ministry of Finance reported. Tax and non-tax revenues amounted to 87,592.4 million rubles, having decreased by 22.3 percent.

The main sources of income in the region are still the personal income tax, corporate income tax, excise taxes, and property taxes.

In turn, the expenditures of the consolidated budget of the republic for the first seven months of this year were financed in the amount of 149,785.7 million rubles. This is 16.8 percent more than in January-July 2019.

In the sectoral structure of expenditures, the largest share is traditionally occupied by the social component of the budget - 79 percent of all expenditures or 118,295.6 million rubles.

The republican budget for the seven months of this year was executed in terms of revenues in the amount of 112,898.7 million rubles, and in terms of expenditures in the amount of 132,040.8 million rubles.

Revenues of local budgets (municipal districts, urban districts, rural and urban settlements) by August 1 were executed for 59,126.3 million rubles. The expenditures amounted to 55,922.3 million rubles, the Ministry of Finance stated.
