310 square meters of new housing were built per thousand inhabitants in Bashkiria

In January-July 2020, 15.8 thousand apartments with a total area of ​​about 1.255 million square meters were commissioned in Bashkiria. This is 106.2% more than in the first seven months of last year, Bashkortostan Statistics Agency stated.

310 square meters of housing have been commissioned per thousand inhabitants of the region since the beginning of the year.

“Individual developers at their own expense and with the help of loans have built 7.7 thousand houses with a total area of ​​more than 833 thousand square meters, or 102.3% by January-July 2019,” the statisticians of the republic reported. “Developers - legal entities during the same time put into operation about 422 thousand square meters of housing, which is 114.2% compared to January-July 2019 ”.

According to the types of buildings, the total area of ​​residential premises was distributed as follows: almost 382 thousand square meters fell on high-rise apartment buildings, more than 19 thousand square meters - on low-rise apartment buildings, over 12 thousand square meters - on houses for one family, more than 8 thousand square meters - for hostels.

According to the results of January-July of this year, Bashkiria is fifth among the regions of the country in terms of housing construction, and second among the regions of the Volga Federal District.
