Bashkiria hit TOP-10 producers of greenhouse vegetables

Bashkiria is among the top ten producers of indoor vegetables. According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, the region is in sixth place with the result of 43.5 thousand tons of vegetables as of August 18. The main greenhouse vegetables in Russia are cucumbers (563 thousand tons) and tomatoes (320 thousand tons).

In Bashkiria, the largest producers of vegetables in winter greenhouses are Alekseevsky State Farm and Khabibrakhmanov sole trader, which by August 18 produced 9.4 and 8.2 thousand tons of vegetables, respectively - slightly less than half of the total regional volume.
