Bashkiria agro-industrial complex exported products for $ 84.3 million

In Bashkiria, the volume of exports of agricultural products in the first half of the year amounted to $ 84.3 million - two times higher than last year, according to the regional Ministry of Agriculture. The main share in the export structure was taken by fat and oil products ($ 31.6 million), sugar ($ 15.6 million), cereals ($ 12.5 million). The export of sugar increased eight times, due to the overproduction of the product in the region.

The region's annual plan for the export of agricultural products is $ 115 million. The plan for 2024 is $ 230 million.

The agro-industrial complex of Russia as a whole exported products worth $ 13 billion - an increase of 18% (+ $ 2 billion) while an annual plan was $ 25 billion.

China is the leading buyer of domestic agricultural products. According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the PRC imported $ 1.9 billion worth of Russian food, 35% more than in the first half of 2019. Turkey is in second place - $ 1.5 billion (+ 42%), Kazakhstan is in third place - $ 974 million (+ 20%).

Practically all major groups of goods, and first of all vegetable oils, grains, meat, and sugar, demonstrated growth of agricultural exports.
