3.5 billion rubles will be invested in construction of basalt fibers plant in Sibay

Shugur-M LLC plans to organize the production of continuous basalt fibers and primary materials based on them with a capacity of up to 12 thousand tons per year at the production facilities of the unfinished TPP in Sibay. According to General Director Alexander Vishnyakov, these products are in demand by enterprises of the republic's construction industry.

The volume of investments will amount to 3.5 billion rubles, which will create more than 400 new jobs. Investors are asking for tax breaks and support in terms of connecting to water, gas, electricity, and sewerage networks.

The Head of Bashkortostan took the project under his personal control at the visiting "Investment Hour" session, which took place within the framework of the Second Investment Sabantuy "Trans-Urals - 2020" and instructed the Ministry of Industry and Energy of the Republic of Bashkortostan to work out the issue of a stable supply of the Trans-Urals with electricity, taking into account the commissioning of new enterprises.
