Radiy Khabirov: Growth of investments amounted to 9%in Bashkiria in first half of year

The growth of investments in the republic following the results of six months of this year amounted to 9.1%. The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, announced this figure opening a plenary session "INNOREGION: Cities Where You Want To Live" of the Second Investment Sabantuy "Trans-Urals - 2020" taking place in the city of Sibay. According to the Head of the Region, this is a good indicator. Despite all the problems associated with the coronavirus pandemic, the republic's economy is developing.

"We have a good understanding of how to develop a comfortable urban environment. First of all, when presenting a project, we consult with local residents and listen to their proposals. The latest events near Kushtau have shown that we, first of all, should communicate more actively with people, understand the problems that worry them," said Radiy Khabirov. The Head of the Region commented on his words to increase the republic's share in the BSC authorized capital to a controlling stake in an interview with the Echo Moskvy Editor-In-Chief Alexey Venediktov.

"This is a significant enterprise for Bashkortostan, thousands of people work there. Moreover, now we should think about what to do with the enterprise, how to develop its raw material base. The state represented by the republic should back it and think about the further development strategy of the plant," said Radiy Khabirov.

According to the Head of the Region, the challenge for the authorities is the problem of the youth outflow from rural areas and the republic in general.

"Our task is to create conditions for them to stay in Bashkortostan. This requires jobs with decent wages, comfortable living conditions," the Head of the Republic said.
