Russia paid 6.31 million dollars in case of Bashkiria athlete Danil Lysenko

The All-Russian Athletics Federation (ARAF) paid the World Athletics Association $ 6.31 million of fine in the case of the high jumper Danil Lysenko.
According to RIA Novosti, the athlete missed three doping tests, after which he presented a certificate to the international organization that he could not take the tests due to being in the hospital. Later, the document, in the execution of which the ARAF allegedly helped Lysenko, was recognized as fake. World Athletics announced in March that ARAF was fined $ 10 million (five of them suspended) for falsifying documents in the Lysenko case.
Besides, for the expenses that the international federation incurred while investigating issues related to ARAF, the Russian side had to pay another $ 1.31 million. Otherwise, Russian athletes would face complete exclusion from international competitions.
Danil Lysenko, a 23-year-old representative of Bashkir sports, is the 2018 World Indoor Champion, 2017 World Cup Winner, 2017 Indoor Russian Champion, 2018 Russian Champion, International Master of Sports.
