Grain harvest exceeded 1 million tons in Bashkiria

The harvest of cand leguminous crops exceeded 1 million tons in Bashkiria, the Ministry of Agriculture of the region reported.

According to the ministry, 400 thousand hectares of winter and spring crops have been threshed at the moment. The average yield is 25.8 centners per hectare.

“The richest harvest for today was collected by Sterlitamak grain growers - 69 thousand tons. The Aurgaziansky district takes the second place with a gross harvest of 59 thousand tons, the third - by the Chekmagushevsky district, who have collected about 54 thousand tons of grain,” Almaz Galimov, press secretary of the agrarian department of Bashkiria stated.
