It is planned to create largest park in Ufa along Belaya River banks

Developing the Master Plan for the Ufa development for the period up to 2040, the Institute of the General Plan of Moscow proposes to create the largest park in the city. It should be located in a forest that runs along the coastal slope of the Belaya River, from the area of the Zatonsky Bridge to the block behind the City Recreation Center stop. The length of the park, tentatively called Ufa Hills, will be almost 6 kilometers, the average width is about a kilometer, and the area is 290 hectares. Such parameters make it the largest in Ufa. For comparison, the Lesovodov Park covers an area of 130 hectares, and the Victory Park - 62 hectares.
According to planners' calculations, the new park may become not only the largest, but also the most visited in the city - 174 thousand people live within a radius of one kilometer from the recreational facility. In order to attract visitors, in addition to arranging walking areas, it is planned to create 4 observation platforms, from which an excellent view of the Zabelye neighborhood should open.
In general, the developers of the Master Plan of Ufa-2040 propose to create at least 8 new recreation areas in different parts of the city.
