Bridge to be built in Kuznetsovsky Zaton in Ufa

Bridges over the Belaya River in the alignment of Internatsionalnaya Street and in the Kuznetsovsky Zaton neighborhood with access to the airport highway are among the first designated for the priorities of new automobile bridges construction in Ufa. This was stated by the head of the Ufa Glavarkhitektura Oleg Baidin.

According to the Master Plan for the Ufa Development for the period up to 2040, the bridge in the Kuznetsovsky Zaton will have a length of 400 meters. It is necessary to build 5.5 kilometers of new roads and reconstruct another 2 kilometers to ensure its transport links with the city and the highway to the airport. The project also includes the construction of two transport interchanges and the reconstruction of one existing one. The estimated traffic intensity at the promising bridge crossing will be 2,000 cars per hour in both directions.

The new transport corridor across the Belaya River will provide additional communication for the actively developed southern districts of the city and the Ufa Peninsula and, most importantly, significantly relieve the exit from Ufa at the Friendship Monument. The cost of the project for the construction is estimated at 14 billion rubles.
