Сonstruction of "New Center" architectural and park ensemble continues in Birsk

The construction of the architectural and park ensemble "New Center" continues in the historical center of Birsk. In 2019, the city won the All-Russian competition for the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment in small towns and historical settlements. There will be a large space with an amphitheater for small events, a dry fountain, a modern playground, and a lounge area with swings and Wi-Fi. The Green Market will be modified and decorated in the same style. Benches and modern lighting will be installed in Lenin Square, and the square in front of the Trinity Cathedral will be completely pedestrianized.

“The implementation of the project will allow residents of the city to find new forms of self-realization and the creation of new values, their own identification,” the representatives of the Institute for Urban Development, which created a plan for the old center reconstruction believe. “Everything is being done to ensure that the improvement will be comprehensive and designed for many years.

The completion of the work and the opening of the park is scheduled for autumn 2020.
