Bashkiria increased agricultural export to 91 million dollars

According to preliminary data as of July 22, Bashkiria has exported agricultural products worth $ 91 million since the beginning of the year, the Ministry of Agriculture of the republic informs.

As emphasized by the department, these indicators are significantly ahead of the schedule of exports of agricultural products last year.

At the same time, already processed agricultural products occupy an increasing share in the export structure.

"As before, almost half of the region's export supplies fall on fat and oil products. The share of sugar and several other products remains significant," said Almaz Galimov, press secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkiria, and recalled that according to the national project, the export of agricultural products in the republic should reach 230 million dollars by 2024.

As the Bashinform News Agency reported, Bashkir enterprises will be able to receive federal subsidies for the production of rapeseed and soybeans.

Bashkiria was included in the list of 39 regions of the country that grow these crops. The total amount of financing under the priority project "Export of agricultural products" will amount to 3.3 billion rubles.

This measure of state support is aimed, first of all, at increasing the oilseeds processing product output in demand in foreign markets.

According to the regional Ministry of Agriculture, this year, rapeseed crops occupy about 33 thousand hectares in Bashkiria. In total, oilseeds are sown on an area of ​​about 350 thousand hectares, mainly with sunflowers.

The production of rapeseed is very costly - with special machinery and technology. It is necessary to treat fields from weeds and pests, fertilizers for good growth.
