Industrial production index showed 2.6% decline in Bashkiria in June

In Bashkiria, the indicator of industrial production showed a decline of 2.6% in June compared with June 2019. In January-June, the index showed a decline of 1.1% compared to the first half of 2019, Bashkortostan Statistics Agency reports.
A decrease was noted in three types of economic activities of the industrial sector: "mining" (98.8% compared to January-June 2019), "manufacturing" (99.9%), "supplying of electricity, gas and steam" (90% ).
The growth was shown by the type of activity “water supply, sewerage, waste collection and disposal, activities to eliminate pollution” (102.9%).
The volume of production decreased most of all in printing and copying of storage media (59.1% compared to January-June 2019), production of leather and leather goods (68.5%), furniture (69.8%), processing wood (80.6%), production of finished metal products (83.7%), production of coke and oil products (91.4%), production of beverages (94.6%).
High growth rates were recorded in the production of other finished goods (173.5% against January-June 2019), motor vehicles (142.3%), metallurgical production (140.0%), clothing production (124.0%), medicines and materials (121.5%), chemicals and chemical products (119.8%), textiles (114.2%), electrical equipment (111.4%), food (110.1%).
In the Russian Federation, the industrial production index amounted to 96.5% in January-June 2020 compared to January-June 2019. In the regions of the Volga Federal District, the indicator varies from 86.7% in the Ulyanovsk region to 106.4% in Mordovia.
