Seed breeding center for 240 million rubles is under construction in Bashkiria

A modern seed-breeding center with a capacity of 20 tons per hour is under construction in the Aurgazinsky district. According to the company CEO Radik Rafikov, it is planned to create a full-cycle production here. Moreover, all processes are fully automated. The investments will amount to 240 million rubles. It was decided to include the project in the list of priorities at the "Investment Hour" session in February 2020.

"Selection work is an important vector of our farmers' work," Radiy Khabirov said. "This results in high quality, more viable seeds that give high yields".

In the village of Sultanmuratovo, the head of the republic visited a fattening complex (feedlot) for raising beef cattle, designed for 2,200 livestock places. As of July 21, there are about 1.5 thousand heads of cattle here.

Radik Rafikov said that in order to create the feedlot, the enterprise reconstructed the premises of a former dairy farm. Here Radiy Khabirov talked with residents of the village of Sultanmuratovo, who spoke about their pressing issues. There are some difficulties with water supply; several old buildings require demolition or reconstruction; a fire engine is needed. According to them, the village as a whole needs improvement. Radiy Khabirov instructed the head of the district to examine the situation, to understand what exactly the residents need and what kind of help they can be rendered.
