Dairy farm worth 4.5 billion rubles is being built in Aurgazinsky district of Bashkiria

Today, the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov visited the Aurgazinsky region on a working trip. Here the head of the region examined the investment projects implemented by the "Urozhay" group of companies - one of the largest agricultural enterprises in the region.

In the village of Ishly, Radiy Khabirov visited a dairy farm under construction for 6,530 heads of cattle with a feed production for 2,980 heads. This is the most ambitious project in the field of dairy farming, which is being implemented in the republic. In December 2018, it was approved at the "Investment Hour" session. The total investment will exceed RUB 4.5 billion.

Last year, the farmers put into operation the first stage of a livestock complex for 1,200 heads. The republic supported the project by providing loans through the Regional Fund. Over the next two years, it is planned to build cowsheds for more than 5,000 heads of the dairy herd, calf houses, a milking unit and other auxiliary premises.

According to Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture RB Ilshat Fazrakhmanov, when the complex reaches its design capacity, Bashkortostan will be able to produce large volumes of milk, and a modern competence center of dairy herd development will appear in the republic.

Radiy Khabirov discussed with the company's management issues of milk sales, measures of state support and proposed to consider the prospects for further development of the holding at one of the "Investment Hours".

"We have set ourselves a goal of becoming the first in Russia in milk production. We are an agricultural territory with a strong agrarian sector. Moreover, dairy farming is one of the key areas for Bashkortostan," Radiy Khabirov stated.
