Vocational education center of Rostec aviation cluster will train 2 thousand people annually

Last year, UEC-UMPO PJSC began the creation of a Vocational Education Center for the aviation cluster of the State Corporation Rostec (CPO) to train specialists in sought-after blue-collar occupations applying the dual education system. The main areas of study are "Metal cutting" and "Mechatronics". The design capacity of the Center is about 2,000 people a year, including 1,000 people under training programs for new workers, 1,000 people under retraining and advanced training programs.

The ceremony of laying a special capsule in the construction of the new Center took place today. The Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Oleg Bocharov, First Deputy General Director of the Rostec State Corporation Vladimir Artyakov, Industrial Director of the Rostec Aviation Cluster Anatoly Serdyukov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the republic's government Andrey Nazarov attended the event.

The press service of the association informs that the Vocational Education Center is focused on the European experience: the teaching staff was trained at the BBW educational center in Germany.

This year, new training programs are being tested on the existing training and production facility of the enterprise, and training of mentors and teachers of the Center continues. It is scheduled to open in May 2021.
