Andrey Nazarov: “I consider dialogue between state and business to be very important.”

Since Bashkortostan has significantly increased in the pace of development over the past year and a half, then holding a forum of such a level in Ufa is absolutely logical. Andrey Nazarov, the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB, stated it opening a plenary meeting of the “BUSINESS Protection: G2B. Partnership Evolution” international forum.

In 2019, 1.2 billion rubles were allocated for state support of small and medium-sized businesses in the republic. The volume of microfinance for the year increased to 566 million rubles; a regional leasing company provided support to small businesses in the amount of about 1 billion 72 million rubles, and the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Bashkortostan provided entrepreneurs with guarantees for 338.6 million rubles. Besides, two “My Business” centers were opened to assist entrepreneurs. In 2020, it is planned to open such centers in three more cities, and by 2024 in all the rest.

The leadership of the republic is engaged in the active protection of business as it considers this the only truly effective long-term development mechanism.
