Special tourist-recreational economic zone “Ural” is being created in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, a special economic zone of the tourist-recreational type “Ural” is under creation. The SEZ will include three municipal districts - Abzelilovsky, Beloretsky, Burzyansky. Salavat Nafikov, the Chairman of the Republican State Committee on Tourism, stated this.

According to the plan, a development concept will be worked out in the fourth quarter of this year, a documentary elaboration is planned in 2021, a bid campaign in 2022. An application will be submitted to the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation in the first half of 2023, and a tourist and recreation SEZ "Ural" is supposed to be registered in the second half of 2023.

The Deputy Prime Minister Rustem Muratov supervises the work in the framework of the decree "On strategic directions of the socio-economic development of the Republic of Bashkortostan until 2024," the Chairman of the State Committee marked.
