Investment Attraction Center will be created in Bashkortostan

Bashkiria will create a regional "Investment Attraction Center".

This decision was made at a meeting of the Presidium of the Government RB on July 7. First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Nazarov held it.

As the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB - Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy of Bashkiria Rustam Muratov noted, the center for attracting investments will not duplicate the functions of both the existing coordinating and advisory bodies and the Ministry of Economic Development and Investment Policy of the republic.

“The Investment Attraction Center is designed to develop and implement common approaches for finding investors, to collect together the picture of the movement of investment projects (their budgets, goals, resources, etc.), as well as to do everything possible so that the stages of the investment process from project initiation, decision making, and completion become faster, more efficient, less risky,” Rustam Muratov said.

The main objective of the center will be to develop and implement the approved mechanisms and instruments for attracting investments into the activities of the executive authorities and local self-government bodies, taking into account international experience and practice of the Russian regions.

At the municipal level, the Investment Attraction Center will arrange its work through business sheriffs.
