Eco-hotel opened near Mount Toratau

On July 3, 2020, a grand opening of the eco-hotel took place in the Toratau Geopark. The hotel includes seven yurts and cafes located at the foot of the Toratau Mountain in Ishimbaysky region. Bashkir yurts are arranged in the shape of a kurai flower.

The idea of ​​this eco-hotel belongs to local Timur Iskandarov. Back in 2015, he had a dream to create an outdoor camp for tourists in a picturesque place of Bashkortostan. Timur loves local nature, its uniqueness. He wanted more people to be able to see this beauty. A team of like-minded people helped him make his dream come true. Representatives of the Toratau Geopark, the administration of the Ishimbaysky region, and local entrepreneurs participated in the project.

Eco-hotel “Toratau” will receive tourists not only in the summer but also in the cold season. Closer to autumn, all yurts will be made cold-proof. Several entertainment programs are prepared for tourists. Guided mountain climbing is now possible. Also, vacationers will be able to ride horses and bicycles, try national dishes, see the decoration of real Bashkir yurts. The organizers said that they would launch regular bus routes from nearby cities.
