Self-employed number has reached 18 thousand people in Bashkiria

Since the beginning of the year, 17,900 self-employed, or 60.5 percent of the planned, have been registered in Bashkiria, a briefing session at the republican government reported on Monday.

By the end of the year, the number of self-employed in the region should reach at least 29,600 people.

Self-employed are individuals and sole traders working without hired labor and using the special tax regime “Professional income tax”.

Bashkiria is one of the regions where the special tax regime “Professional income tax” (self-employment) applies.

A similar regime is in force in Moscow, Moscow, Kaluga regions, Voronezh, Volgograd, Leningrad, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Rostov, Samara, Sakhalin, Sverdlovsk, Tyumen, Chelyabinsk, Tatarstan, St. Petersburg, as well as in Krasnoyarsk, Perm Territory, Nenets Autonomous District, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District - Yugra, and the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District.

Since July 1, other regions, at their request, will also be able to join the experiment.
