Farmers and rural cooperatives received state support of 1.16 billion rubles in Bashkiria

In 2019, more than 1.16 billion rubles were channeled to small forms of farming as state support, the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkiria reported. 26 family farms and 21 beginner farmers participated in farmer support programs. Two grants totaling 28 million rubles were allocated for the development of the facilities and technical base of cooperatives.

For the second year of the support program for revenue-generating projects, 119 agricultural consumer cooperatives were created (224 in total since 2018). The total amount of support for agricultural consumer cooperatives from the republican budget was 600 million rubles in two years.

In 2019, the region registered 763 new peasant farms. The share of farmers in gross agricultural output amounted to 12.9%.
