Radiy Khabirov named 14% investment growth as "real breakthrough" in 2019

The gross regional product grew by 2.5% in 2019 and reached 1.7 trillion rubles. The average monthly wage in nominal terms increased by 8% to 36,600 rubles, in real terms - by 1.5%. The Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov announced these figures in his speech to the deputies of the State Assembly. According to him, the republic's industry completed the year with the highest growth rate over the past five years. The best results were shown by Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat, Bashneft, NefAZ, Bashmed, OZNA, Bashkir Soda Company, Iskozh. The volume of agricultural production reached almost 170 billion rubles. Its export grew one and a half times.

"The result of systematic work was an increase in investment by almost 14%. This is a real breakthrough, I believe. The republic rose from 23rd place to 16th in the National rating of the investment climate of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. We are improving legislation, developing new support mechanisms. We provide tax incentives, develop priority development areas, and industrial parks. The practice of conducting "investment and business sessions" was introduced. I consider the creation of an "Alga" special economic zone to be the most important achievement for the republic," said Radiy Khabirov.
